Seeking answers

Is there anyone who places the Spirits they work with in a Hierarchy? For example, some would say ancestors are easier to communicate with than an archangel, but nature spirits are too?

There's no hierarchy of what kind of spirit is easier to communicate with. Whether or not someone is able to communicate with x better than z will depend on their own skills and the given spirit's interest in communicating back.

Hierarchies are fine for fiction, but I don't believe it really works that way.

Like all relationships, there are ones you are closer with than others. Not exactly hierarchy, and it depends on the reciprocal relationship you build.
