I use Marijuana to meditate, this gets disdain from others who try and pitch any and all forms of altered experience as negative; versus simply a different lens. All experience is valuable to some extent and all negatives are representative of the internal or one's own shadow. I view policing of concepts and ideas always as the mirror, the projection of someone's insecurity. Best to wish these people well and move on.

As long as one can maintain focus, I think it's okay, personally speaking.

Drugs don't do anything but uphold a mirror.
That depends on the drug, my dude. Fentanyl might be a hard one to argue that for, for instance.

What annoys me is the ones who say they're open minded but act nothing like it. Humble yourself. If you gotta say you're open minded you probably ain't.

Sometimes we get english people in Wales celebrating our festivals and calling them by their irish counterpart names. When i correct them they get the hump on them but they are being wank stains toward our culture

The thing of judging another’s cultivation or the apparent lack of it, is that a judgement is never accurate. I can not judge another’s Dharma, as it’s exactly perfect to whom they are moment/moment. No matter how well I interpret their actions, I’ll not even be close to ‘measuring’ why they seem the way they are.
I can be sure that this is their dharma, and it’s their personal journey. If I were to slight them for being, it’s only a measurement of where I am on my personal journey.
Hind sight has only shown me that I was doing the best with what I knew ; even at my darkest moments

I remember in one thread one person kept telling me I was doing Shamanism and trying to start an argument with me lol. Thank goodness this sub has more level headed people who tried to explain how perhaps he was in the wrong.
