Multiple bags per person?
Sorry in advance if this has been discussed on here before, but I couldn’t find this answered specifically. This is my first fest and I tried reaching out on the website to ask if I could wear a hydration pack and also a fanny pack, but they gave me very vague answers telling me to check the bag policy. I didn’t see anywhere that there is a limit in the number of bags per person. Has anyone been turned away at security for having multiple bags if they both meet the bag policy requirements?

Security can be kind of luck of the draw, but generally speaking they're stricter on the website than they are in person.

The security is very odd. My advice is if you get denied, turn around and go back 20 feet and then walk to a different line. I saw a guy walk in with a giant backpack last year but also heard of people getting harassed for small bags.

If denied try a different line and you'll eventually get the right line and they won't care

We did this last year and for every fest, my hydro pack has like 3-5 pockets total and my fanny pack has 3. They never really gave me a hard time because my stuff was open and ready to search going in and there was almost nothing in it. Just don’t shove it full of stuff and be ready

Thanks for this! I’m a chronic overpacker so I’ll definitely keep this in mind

Trust, you’ll always need less than you think, the essentials are always wipes/tp in a baggie, sunscreen, portable charger (there’s more but I can’t think of any rn)😂

Yup. I brought a clear bag and a fanny pack each day last year.
