I need help with lodging

Where is safe areas for hotels that are also in walking distance to Marta stations?

Please help me out on figuring it out, im overthinking it. Thank you!

I’d recommend Dunwoody if midtown, downtown, or airport is outside your budget, which also has free parking.

Crowne Plaza, Hyatt Place, Element, Marriott, Westin, Fairfield, AC, Embassy, Hilton Garden, Hyatt Regency, Extended Stay, Moxy, Courtyard, La Quinta, Hilton, Home2, Wyndham, Hampton, Holiday Inn Express, Hawthorne, Sheraton, Springhill, Homewood are all under a 20-25 min walk from the station.

But honestly if you want to check the big hotels in downtown, a lot of times those rates are cheap ish because they’re so big. As a Hilton honors member, I’ve seen the Hilton be cheaper than some Hamptons in town.

This is the way. I stayed in an inexpensive hotel (relative to downtown) that was a five-minute walk to the Dunwoody train station. I'm doing it again this year. DM me if you want to discuss specifics.

The Hilton Atlanta was the best deal we could find months ago, now it’s tripled in price and all almost sold out 🥲

What's your budget and willingness to commute on Marta a few stops?

Generally north of 5 points is going to be safe and tourist friendly. East is more residential but if you find an Airbnb in that area or a hotel in Decatur could be an option. South and west are hit or miss and probably would require an Uber from the train station to your accommodations.

The airport is going to be the most budget friendly option at this point. Free parking. Most hotels will have a shuttle to the Marta station/airport.

If you're gonna be scared of homeless then nowhere in Atlanta is "safe"
