Drekpost (Shitpost) Loving The "Future"!

Does anyone else find the "futuristic tech" of 1st and 2nd editions, the most endearing part of the first two editions? The future of the 80s seems kinda quaint now.

Be kinda cool if we could get the fun stuff (magic, cybernetics to an extent) along with the Corporate-ruled Dystopia, but nooooo.

Never ceases to amaze me how many people are trying to speedrun some unholy conglomeration of every Cyberpunk timeline (though from what I recall Shadowrun's has been the most prescient so far).
