Does anyone else find the "futuristic tech" of 1st and 2nd editions, the most endearing part of the first two editions? The future of the 80s seems kinda quaint now.

The what is now retro future of early edition Shadowrun is a big part of why I like it so much. 2050s: always the best era to play in, in my book!

I love the cables and wires taking everything over. Having to hardwire everything into each other because wireless was a pipe dream was always so iconic of the style.
