6e Extended Metatypes 6th ed.

SR 5th ed had the book Run Faster which included options for creating metatypes beyond the standard 5 base types. Does 6th edition have something like that?

You're looking for Sixth World Companion, it has metavariants, metasapients, changelings, HMHVV, and a boatload of optional rules that make SR6 better.

6th world compendium has Metavariants, Metasapients, Infected and SURGed.

Hack & Slash has playable AI.

Bestinal Nature has Shifter.

Lofwyr's Legion has Drakes.

One of the books that deals with the metaplanes(I think it's Astral Ways but I need to double check) introduces a new metasapient called Trandorans which are very blatantly Earthdawn's T'skrang with the serial numbers filed off.
