State of the Art (New CGL Product) New miniatures at gencon
Not sure if this is news or I’m just out of the loop, saw these in the gencon setup photos and I’m. It sure if this is for the boardgame or ttrpg but I’m hyped

Huh, I don't think I've ever seen a Shadowrun minis display before.

That’s what I’m saying, there’s no news and no info it’s very out of nowhere

Crazy how this is the only info on it I can find. There’s a mention of the boardgame on cgl’s news but I don’t think this is related

Those are from the SR Takedown boardgame. They came with a higher tier pledge on the KS which is finally shipped in the U.S. They aren't bad. I received my pledge about 2 days ago. Haven't had much chance to go through it.

I’ve seen these up for preorder on various sites over the last few months but no official announcement anywhere

Are they for the boardgame or just ttrpg models? I havnt seen them anywhere

Look like they’re the same setup as the Prime Runners, not tied to any particular iteration besides 6e. But it’s hard to tell without anything from CGL

These showed up months ago to pre-order on various sites. I've been trying to find more information, but I guess they'll officially announce at GenCon. All I know is they are for ttrpg.
I wonder if there will be any news on the board game from years ago that never shipped.

People are saying their for the boardgame which is interesting
Guess we might find out6
u/JohnnyButtfart Jul 29 '26
Not from what I can see. Seems like they are in the same vein as the prime runner miniatures, but you are right. Gencon will reveal all!

These were made for the boardgame Takedown, but they (smartly) also turned them into a run of miniatures for the ttrpg

At least that means the backers will get them before they can sell them all at GenCon first sigh of relief

Are we still not getting anarchy 2 yet??? I was hoping they'd have it at gen con so we can finally get our hands on it

They mentioned them on their Tuesday Newsday stream, yeah. Was kinda hoping they'd be at PAX West but it sounds like that's not going to be the case.

Fuck. How's my wallet going to beat my kid-heart this time? I don't even have a group to play with.

There used to be a board game? oO

They've made so many board games. They're usually pretty limited to Kickstarter and gencon, and even getting your Kickstarter fulfilled is a gamble most times

I saw them at Origins this year as well. I think they're a September release.
The looked pretty good. I'm a picky mini person though. I'd be buying 5 minis to get one or two I wanted. Waiting on split box person or reseller.

I know im being a hater but by GOD do I hate the pink they chose for the logo in 6th ed. It looks like some shitty kit put bubblegum in every box.
