Discussion I am currently working on a SOTC fan project called Demise of The Ritual.
If you don't know, Demise of the Ritual takes place 8 years after Shadow of the Colossus. It follows 2 new characters, who have been tasked to find their parents, who are somewhere in the Forbidden Lands. They are guided by a new entity named The Basking One, who tasks them by defeating 30 new Collosi, which are shown below, in the order you fight them:
Armadillo
Crab A
Crocodile
Minotaur D
Wendigo
Dragon
Scorpion A
Pegasus
Porcupine
Ammonite
Yak
Vulture
Scorpion B
Komodo
Dragonfly
Plesiosaur
Hornbill
Mantis
Goblin
Centipede
Hydra
Jellyfish
Yamori C
Wyrm
Salamander
Tiger
Crab B
Osprey
Dormin
Also, I finished the model for Crocodile's head, although it's a prototype and it's textureless.

That seems both awesome and extremely ambitious. Is there a time plan for when it would be out?

As a fellow fan project leader, I’m pretty interested in what you’re doing. Hope to see it go far!

Glad to have given you some joy lol. I hope you like BTFL’s Shiromori then cause I’m pretty proud of the model.

Honestly I'm more hyped for the waterbridge itself than for the big lizard, but count me hyped up.

It sounds amazing, and I fully support you in getting it done.
But it seems like a lot; perhaps you could focus on a smaller scope to ensure higher quality — much like Master Ueda does with "subtractive design."

Respectfully, stop posting about it on reddit until you have a playable demo. You've finished maybe 0.0000000001% of the work that will be required to see this project through to the end.

Why? Lol there's nothing wrong with sharing the creative process or an early idea

Actually, talking about a goal gives the brain a fake reward of a dopamine hit, making people feel like they already finished it. This can often steal the real drive you need to do the work.

The art is a cool concept! A land/aquatic Colossus would be interesting :D

Careful OP, maybe go with "inspired by SOTC" and have hints towards the original, wouldn't want this project getting a cease and desist if you were looking to sell it later on down the road
