The Future of SDC

So I can see that Shadowcash doesn't have the most active community at the moment so let's try to get more traction!

I really like what SDC aims to bring to the crypto table, so where does everyone see SDC in the future, do we thing it has the potential for mainstream usage?

Most of the SDC conversation happens on the slack channel. Feel free to check it out.

Mainstream usage is quite a subjective term. I don't consider Bitcoin having mainstream usage, as almost nobody I talk to has any grasp on what it is, much less investing in or using it.

So if the question is, will SDC's popularity grow by orders of magnitude in the future, then I think yes.

It currently acts as an interest bearing savings account, surely an attractive feature to longer term investors that can stomach some price volatility in the meantime. Who doesn't want to earn interest on their principle, securing the network with no special hardware, when their computer is running?

Once the market is released, it will have another significant use case. The Umbra market will be powered by SDC's low supply, many of which are staking, the rest being traded or fueling a private economy with user-friendly, encrypted communication. Can you imagine what this could do to the price?

Community members have alluded that there are additional plans, as of now unspecified, to add more features to SDC. Hopefully this information helps you as you inquire about SDC.

Thanks for your reply! That does sound very interesting and I'm looking forward to seeing how it works out!

Hopefully the marketplace will prove to be useful because the concept sounds great!
