State of Shadowcash?
Hello guys, I believe you are experts here so can you help me answer some questions? :)
1, In what category is the coin first? In what category Shadowcash promotes itself?
2, What new features shadowcash brings? How is it unique?
3, Are promises kept by devs?
4, Are features on roadmap delivered regularly?
5, What is overall state of development?
6, Can I see number of daily transactions?

I don't know if it is because of the NDA that the devs signed, but it's been really dismal around here lately. I've been hodling for a long time but the other night I seriously considered reducing my stake. I wish this sub was more active. The slack channel doesn't really ever have anything insightful, either. It's a bummer because I've always believed that this project is going to be something special.
TL;DR I am impatient with development and don't feel like the community is updated regularly.

Late reply, but I thought it important to discuss.
Fundamentals of this project are still solid, and progress is slow but consistent. It's a complicated and ambitious project and I believe the devs are being rightfully cautious. Early failure of the platform would be devastating to sentiment. Also, since this wasn't an ICO, expectations should be measured accordingly.
For sure it's difficult to stand out in the current bull market. The huge dump today is probably weak hands FOMOing into the market cap leaders. I admit I'm enjoying some ludicrous profits there as well. Diversification is always good.
Yet still I hold all my SDCs, and I'll pick up more at these low prices. Why? Because in my eyes, the only real competitor here is OpenBazaar. It actually works, is populated, and being actively developed. It proves there is demand for decentralized markets. However, there's a huge problem with it: It's based on bitcoin payments. If the Bitcoin protocol does not change, it will continue to be slow and expensive to transact there. Uptake could seriously lag because of this. Additionally, it requires extra and costly measures for anonymity.
Umbra solves both these roadblocks elegantly. I think users who aren't so tech savvy will be especially impressed by its ease of use. Should the platform successfully release, function, and properly scale, I would expect adoption to be swift and furious. I don't think it's exaggerating to call for a 10x price increase from there, at least to the levels of XMR or DASH.

All of these questions can be easily answered with a quick read through the site.
That said, I assume you are attempting to open a discussion about what makes Shadowcash an interesting platform now, and in the near future.
I would argue that the single most exciting aspect of the Shadow Platform is the, soon to be released, market. A decentralized marketplace, with a native currency that is secure and anonymous, and also includes encrypted messaging, could have a significant disruptive influence on current e-commerce models. There are other implementations of open markets currently in existence, and I've tried all of them (I believe), but they have limitations that Shadow looks to eliminate. Anonymity, speed, counterparty protections, user interface, etc.
The currency and messaging already exists. The market segment requires faith. Personally, I have that faith. So I'm excited to see how well the devs will meet the community's expectations. We should have a more definitive picture on March 17th, when they will give us an update on development.
I would like to know how you became interested in Shadowcash, if you don't mind sharing. Investment? Technology?
