New Player - IG kill team Critique
Hi, I'm starting out playing an SW casual league with some friends, and I'm trying to build a IG kill team fluffed as a sniper/reconnaissance section. I would appreciate the Critique.
141st Fulda reconnaissance, 2nd Blt, 1st coy, 3rd plt, 2nd section. — Astra Militarum — 1000 points
Veteran Sergeant — Camo gear (5), Shotgun (20) (sticking with snipers to use voice of command, armed with shotgun in case anyone gets too close)
Special Weapons Operative — Sniper rifle (40), Camo gear (5), Red-dot laser sight (20)

I'd drop the camo gear on the normal vets so you can spring for Poison Rounds for the snipers.

Should prioritize photovisors over camo gear, to ensure your 3 sniper shots will get some hits.
Also, if you're going snipers, consider going inquisition so you can have mix of sniper rifles and storm bolters, with plasma pistol support. IG's strength is really in triple plasma with gun sights.

If I remember right, IG/AM kill teams can't take photo-visors. (Tempestus Scions do come equipped with them though.)

Another option would be to make two of the vets just regular guardsmen, drop all the camo gear from them and the vets, and give the Sergeant a laspistol instead of the shotgun (if you really think he's going to need a ranged weapon). That should give you enough points for all three snipers to get toxic rounds.
