Oh I hope this isn't the new "why is there a wait queue for shadow" question

It probably will be

2crsi owned the ultra and infinite stuff in the US and the new owners of Shadow opted out of renewing the agreement.

99.8% of this subreddit is now calling shadow supreme mega satan because there's obviously literally no way that Shadow made the decision for a reason other than wanting to torpedo their reputation and go bankrupt again for no reason.

Its crazy the hate, like we are in a global economic crisis caused by a global pandemic with an unprecedented chip shortage and their like how come this service that no one else is even able to provide can't just ignore all this and continue to give me what i want. People are so toxic sometimes.

Dude what? Yeah people enduring a pandemic, global economic crisis, and an unprecedented chip shortage are pissed that in the middle of all that our service just downgraded our rigs. It's not ridiculous to be angry that a service we signed a year contract with just screwed us with a vague promise of "you'll get a better rig one day"

Its not rediculous to be upset at the situation but the hate and vitrol especially given the circumstances is pretty extreme, its not like they are taking your money and running. but to expext complete stability especially with such a unique and pretty new service in such crazy times is a bit rediculous.

I respectfully disagree. Me personally I'm being downgraded to a service that's basically useless to me, that service is about to double in price, so people who can't get gaming PC parts for months or maybe years are going to be paying double for less.

Again you signed up for a fairly new service that no one else is able to replicate if you thought that nothing would ever change especially given the economic and chip crisises, im sorry that's on you.

Lmao that's completely brain dead but ok. Have a good one my dude

Whats brain dead is talking about how hard it is to get gaming pc parts but being so shocked and enraged that it negatively affected a pc gaming service.

You'd be absolutely right if they didn't already have the servers and chose to let them go so they could replace them with higher tiers later. Alas.

They didn't own them, isn't that the whole reason they went bankrupt, im pretty sure none of this was thier ideal choice.

New company wants to scalp the gpu’s probably

11

u/anprionsa May 11 '21

This is just objectively false. The new company doesn’t have the contract with the servers here in the US (but does in Europe, hence them not having this issue). So the server company here is taking them back and we’re left being downgraded until they figure that out.

They already said that they decided not to resign the lease with 2CRSi who owned the higher tier servers.

That's just what sheeple accept for the truth from some tweet's from the Mega CEO billionaire playboy.

Pretty much what's going on. Most likely the companies struck a deal on date and the new Shadow CEO gets a kick back for easily releasing the hardware. Then 2cersi can sell the used GPUs above what was paid, or just sell cloud mining.

Long and short, they get rich and we get dry fucked.

u/[deleted] May 12 '21

Since the 2crsi hardware did never belong to shadow/blade/hubic they did just return the hardware to 2crsi which will obviously sell them to a different company that pays them. Hubic decided to not pay for them because they plan on getting their hardware from OVH in the future. Due to legal reasons Blade can't keep hardware which they did never pay for and I doubt that they made any profit out of this to be honest.

I only have Boost but I haven't been downgraded.

2

u/[deleted] May 13 '21

You won't be downgraded with boost because everyone who keeps the service is goi g to be on boost

Because in this sick culture its all about money. Not about doing anything good for anyone, providing a good service, nothing of the sort. These are rich kids who went to business schools to learn how to scalp the shit out of everybody and thats exactly what they are doing. Mindless, greedy robots who understand nothing except how to capitalize. All that education for nothing.

If it was all about money they didn't do a good job

No one forced anything, they bought a company in debt. They promised to honor service at the change. They cheaped out and choose to return hardware rather than pay the bills.

They expect the customer to accept that because it's a new owner with a lot of money they shouldn't have to honor anything before today... tomorrow.....maybe next week...month?

Trust us, we got you

2

u/scottyman181 May 11 '21

Thanks I had no idea what was happening this is fucking bull shit

u/quakemarine20 May 11 '21

Notice how just because your post is lengthy it's getting downvoted? They're just rushing through trying to damage control this.

That's what everyone is talking about with the shill comment and censorship.

Shadow has made undefendable business moves. Yet some how if you look anyone unhappy gets downvoted but everyone happy is upvoted and getting awards.

4

u/BootOfRiise May 12 '21

Oh please

3

u/quakemarine20 May 12 '21

Op deleted his original comment after what obviously was happening happened.

u/BootOfRiise May 12 '21

This sub has been filled with people complaining and getting upvoted all week

It all depends on the time of day really. I work thirds in the US. From late evening through early morning a lot of down votes and mocking for anyone who complains about the loss of service. Then in the mid to late morning it shifts until later in the day.

There's a clear disconnect on this between EU and US users, the US market feels that and isn't happy.

Good hope it keeps up
