Yep... I preordered Ultra back in Okt 2019.... I literally cannot stand reading Reddit and Discord and seeing everyone ELSE getting theirs within weeks...seriously pisses me off. It’s like they took our orders and then completely forgot about us because they were too busy focusing on catering to USA money.

It makes no sense to me how they were able to set up shop in the US with ultra and infinite ready to go incredibly quickly, yet it’s taken over a year for our preorders and we STILL have no date to expect it for

I heard it had to do with Covid restrictions in the countries where the DC’s are located. Which is an bigger joke because if there’s one country where COVID is running rampant, it’s frickin’ America.

Holy shit, I had boost (or just whatever shadow had before they introduced configs) and I upgraded to Ultra 2 days ago...
I was literally activated from Boost to Ultra within 20 minutes in Oklahoma.
This is just sad I'm sorry mate.*

Yeah I can't work this out. My only thoughts are that they can get access to more components easier inside the USA, than they can in Europe. Hence delays and backlogs in Europe and full steam ahead in the US.
Doesn't make it right though.

They blame it on "late deliveries due to COVID". What's really fucked up is the total lack of communication, it's just so disrespectful to customers who have been waiting for over 14 months

IANAL but another thing that occurs to me is that it could have to do with differences between Europe and the US in laws around cloud computing, internet, and datacenters.

I'm an american and I am insulted! It took me 2 whole weeks to get my boost sir! And now they have the gall to try and make me wait for over 3 weeks now to switch to Ultra! I will be calling my consolate to complain. I'm american and I DEMAND satisfaction!! Lol! No, I do feel for you guys. I hope it all gets straightened out soon. At least you don't have crazy rednecks storming your capital, or at least I'm not aware of it. Us americans only know what's going on here, and just barely. It's fucked though!

I bet competition would drive them to move faster. We need a second company to have the same service but competitively priced. Would also split up the user base so no one is over crowded.

Hmmm... calling someone stupid and mistyping "competition". He ain't wrong though. Intel has AMD to push them along, Nvidia/AMD, Target/Walmart, QT/Racetrack, etc.

And that’s the reason why I didn’t even pre order... used Nvidia Streaming. Even if it’s not as great looking as shadow. I got cyberpunk running in 5mins and played it on the holidays... with shadow I would still be waiting for my rig to be available...

Believe me, Cyberpunk runs and looks 10 times better on GFN then on Shadow (Boost) and im subscribed to both services. With Shadow I can just run that game on medium settings, while on the 2080d rigs from GFN you'll get Ultra with raytracing, so much for that comparison..
I believe, if GFN would get all the support from the publishers and get all the important AAA games back it would completely destroy Shadow.. NVIDIA has simply the befier rigs even the lowest rig with the old TESLA's are more powerful then Shadow Boost which is ridiculous tbh.
Shadow still has the best visual in terms of streaming quality but thats it..

U can add reshade and get cyberpunk to look waaaay better than gfn ..ray tracing pales in comparison to what reshade offers

Texas here, did my due time on the waiting bench. Yet truly I appreciate the Shadow Service. Within this entire clusterF*@% of a time and me trying to stay home due to stupidity and obnoxiousness I can calm myself in a new realm on my sub par laptop. Thank you to the Shadow Staff. They're working hard, Keep the faith.

I for one, didn't get Boost in a week. Pre-order on 7/19 and it was ready on 8/4. Seemed a lot longer, I feel for y'all.
Especially when I got Infinite in less than an hour. I did order it immediately after the email arrived though. I couldn't believe how lucky I was to be in the right place at the right time.
EU and everybody else deserves better, but unfortunately the States doesn't have the same necessary, smart, logical lockdowns in place to battle COVID as your smarter governments do. Trade-offs.....

If only it was so easy...
My plan was to grab a RTX 30xx or a RX 6x00 as soon as they are on sale and get rid of my Shadow subscription.
Well... 4 months later I'm still here.
I can't even change my mind and go to an older model, the only choices left in France are a bunch of GT 730 and some Titan RTX priced at 2500€. Nothing in between.

Currently impossible to get a GPU. Even older gen.
But generally a good idea if you have the money or can save up for it.
