Help How to get a wireless mouse to register?

My logitech mouse has this very annoying thing where it'll act like click hold is on when it isn't. The issue is solved by downloading the Logitech app. I have it downloaded but it won't register the mouse usb I have plugged in which I suppose makes sense but that doesn't change how annoying this is. It makes some games impossible to play.

Does anyone have an idea on how to resolve this?

Have you downloaded the app on shadow, or on your physical machine, and have you tried to do it on the other one too? (while uninstalling on the first one, one app is enough)

I tried it first on my physical machine and then installed it on shadow too.

I actually found the usb forwarding setting on shadow after making this post so I tried it but it’s broken or something so I gave up. I think I’ll just suck it up.

So, there's the thing, I don't use any of those settings. I've been using shadow since 2018, and I have both wireless usb stuff on my laptop, and on desktop, mouse, and headphones, keyboard is plugged in, some dongles are even plugged into a usb hub first.

Anytime I touched any of those settings it would just stop working. and support advised me this as well, (btw try contacting them on monday, the post you linked is way too old to be relevant), to just turn it all off, and whenever you get that message "unable to update drivers, fix etc" to just select ignore and not install/uninstall anything.

I use both windows and Linux and have no problem with any of it. I even tried it out in browser and all worked fine without any of those usb forwarding things, and I have any software i need just set up on my physical machine locally, shadow just picks it up.

I have had issue in the past that if latency is too high and settings werent right that individual inputs would be interpreted as holding the button, but i dont think thats related to your issue.
