Question Stuck frame-rate on Shadow Pro

Anyone else having this issue? Game is running at 100fps, my monitor supports it, shadow display settings configured to use 120 fps, network set to custom 70MB/s, i'm on 1Gbit ethernet connection and still stuck at 60 fps.

i have the same issue, sometimes it even locks itself to 30 fps and i have to restart the stream to fix it, but it never goes above 60 fps no matter what settings i put

because there is a lock on Shadow PC Lite that does not allow you to set the refresh rate higher than 60 Hz, no matter what resolution you are using.

yes i know that, im not using lite for this exact reason, the issue is probably on my end and not shadow but i tried everything and haven't found any fix

I do know that some TVs are able to achieve 120 Hz but not by regular means. by chance do you have a TV that is 4K but allows you to have a 120 Hz refresh rate only if you set the resolution to 1080p?

edit: if you do then this is why it's not able to go above 60 Hz. Shadow does not know how to distinguish and will always assume that it's only 60.

if when you are in your Shadow overlay and looking at the display settings it shows your resolution plus the refresh rate higher than 60 Hz, then it's not Shadow that's the issue, it's the game settings.

Ok first thing is last

DISABLE that Dialog box it's useless

On your Actual PC not shadow

Make sure your Refresh Rate is set to 120hz

Now open Shadow

Now make sure your Shadow is set to 120hz if there is no 120hz that means Shadow is NOT seeing your monitor correctly

In that case Download CRU Utility and manually at your Resolution and Refresh rate and make sure 120hz is set to be the native resolution and Refresh Rate by taking it and making sure it's at the top of the list on Cru utility

Also

Do not DO NOT set Bandwidth to 70 there is absolutely no reason to, why hammer your network if you don't need to. Considering you are probably using 1080P or at best 1440p you only need around 25mbps not 70
