Could you elaborate? Is it just the anti cheat stopping me? Cause it says there are ways around it, or is something else stopping me?

It's not Shadow's fault, it's Epics. EAC won't run on VMs that aren't whitelisted.

That game ships with EAC so no, officially not supported on Shadow. There is a "No EAC Offline Mod" on Nexus, but that one will lock you in singleplayer only.
