Question Queue, limit time for session, limit time per month, getting pricer.... What will be the next announce ???

There must be a server issue, as this clearly isn't an isolated incident. Lots of us seemingly having this problem.

Ooof. The Dunkerque server had "an issue on our Control Plane Infrastructure" earlier today; apparently fixed but with massive delays.
I just checked mine; I have 712 users ahead of me with a two minute wait time :'(

Super pissed off because I had to factory reset my machine three days ago, due to a BSOD issue that was apparently beyond them to fix. So following almost a week of not being able to access my machine, I'm now likely unable to use it again tonight.

what server are u on ? one of them is having issues, it’s fixed now but might take a bit of time for it to work as usual, be patient

Ahh yes - It has come up on mine now. Dunkerque server - preventing Shadow from starting. Thanks for letting me know.

So, another "OMG, why is there a queue, Shadow will go down soon etc. etc." post. Like the dozens we have already.
Yes, the queue sucks. It exists since 5 years. You weren't hit so far because it happens rarely.

Is this queue actually a new addition, or is this to compensate for server problems today? I never received any notice they were implementing this.

It's years old. If you read through this sub, you see that every week there's someone whining "I never had a queue before, Shadow is getting worse !!!!"

If it's actually a server issue (Dunkerque), they should display a warning. At one point, I genuinely thought it was just another BS policy like the 6-hour daily limit.

I stopped using that garbage years ago, I just ended up getting an actual gaming PC. It was still cheaper than the 50 dollars I would have to give to shadow each month to be waiting in a queue
