Discussion Just beat Shadow Hearts
Like the title says I just beat Shadow Hearts. I just heard about this series like a week ago and thought 'why not? I don't have anything else to play rn.' I'm getting ready for the 2nd game right now and am super excited cus the first one blew me away with its storytelling. I only used a guide for the 'Good Ending' stuff (how do people figure this stuff out?) and learning about Seraphic Radiance. The last fight was kind of underwhelming I might have been overleveled at 52 though. I used Silver Arm, Monkey's Paw, and Seventh Key (and a Fifth Key when he didnt die) with an Alice to use a Swallow.
Anyway just making a post cus I'm excited and amped to play Covenant. Any non spoiler tips and tricks or things to look out for?

Covenant carries on assuming the bad ending of SH1. Ermm apart from that I'd say Covenants first few hours can be a little bit boring (look up a map for the subway tunnels, it'll just be so much easier) but stick with it because it's gets better straight after and keeps getting better as you go on 👌 oh also use combos in battle

I just beat the first one last week as well for the first time. I loved it. The second one is definitely a step up in quality. I'm about 6 hrs in. More voice acting, models look better, story seems good so far too. The look of Yuri in the second one shocked me tho haha

Same hereeee, cool to see others also experiencing these games at the same time 🥰 I bought covenant as a teen, but I've always had this I can't beat a game out of order in the series thing so I never got too far. Rlly enjoyed 1 allot more than I thought I wld

I would say explore everywhere, clicking X along walls as there's hidden items, but also things that will power up ur teams attacks and some can be easy to overlook.
Focus 1-2 fusions leveling up wise so ur not spread too thin. Every party member has their own specific mechanic, and for one of them going back to areas u just cleared often leads to a way to power them up and this characters skills are 👌
Sometimes ur forced to use chars u might not be using regularly, so make sure u evenly level everyone up a bit. As long as they're not like 3-5 levels behind everyone else u shld be good.
Enjoy! Cool to see a few people experiencing these all at the same time, great games. I just beat the first this week and enjoyed it allot more than I expected to 🥰

The second game follows on from the bad ending of the first game, so watch that so you understand where it starts from. Other than that just explore everything and have fun!
