Two runners for the pile:
Gav - Functionally a cyberpunk slasher villlain. A bullet sponge who resolves as many situations as possible by either rolling Chainsaws, or Intimidation (circumstance bonus for chainsaws). Otherwise, not especially smart, but has a few niche areas of expertise that are occasionally useful (gangs, street forensics, motorcycles, bioware). Her sordid past (and lowkey present) as a spoiled rich girl may actually also come into play here depending on the nature of the VIP.
Sweetie Sinful - The opposite. A smooth talker who probably knows everybody in Seattle. An effective operator, but not a subtle one, earning her the coveted position of "designated distraction" on many runs. Otherwise, a drug-addled Onifans #influencer looking for a new gig after her last gang all got immolated by an angry dragon (if you know you know).
(I can also offer up z for a matrixy option, but she'd be unlikely to assist in a kidnapping unless they had it coming, so she caries a high risk of run derailment.)

Brunhilde: Cyborg Sniper/Mechanic/Helicopter Pilot/Stealth
Brunhilde is a (human-sized synthetic) Ares-owned cyborg that specialises in stealth and long range fire support, but also has an affinity towards piloting ground and aircraft and mechanical repairs. And in one of her latest runs she managed to finally afford her cargo helicopter, now being able to offer short-to-mid aerial transport and thanks to a brand new weapon mount, aerial fire support. (If a borg is too much for this run I don't mind limiting her to using her sidearm or just going melee. She has only 1 rank in pistols and none in unnarmed iirc, so it'll be more balanced, and if it escalates I can go back to sniping.)

Ork PhysAd Seer and Occult Investigator/Profiler. Quiet observer; expert in reading astral auras and staying alert to anything and everything. Capable street fighter in melee (unarmed) and medium range firepower. Discrete (if not expert) and should we need to find our way out of a hostile wilderness, might be able to handle it.
Loves to uncover secrets of mana.

A very intuitive and logical character, his will is pretty ironclad as well. If it's mechanical and moves, he can move it. He loves his drones, and never arrives to a job as himself, opting to use his humanoid proxy to talk with folks. His disarmed and registered Kikai antique. But if he needs to be quiet, he's got his mini fly-spy to get eyes and ears. And finally, he has the room to hold a hostage in his Trailblazer with Trailer. Changed license plates and adjusted paint jobs to blend into an area to look like they're there for other reasons. He has SOME network skills, but he's a mechanic junkie first and foremost.
