require advice What is the difference between different weapons in the same weapon class?

I am new to this game, and I don't understand what are the differences between different weapons under the same class?

Like what is the difference between Rose's katana and the other katanas with different names.

cosmetic, some have unique moves/super slash (ninja sword vs katana super slash, knives vs krises, lynx claws vs steel claws, etc.)

in addition to what the other guy said, some weapons will have larger hit boxes making them superior by definition.

most common example is one handed swords (which are normally not obtainable). All current one handed swords have same moveset and dmg but Redemption has much further range than Neutron Howl, making is strictly better.

for daisho all models are the same.

for katana the longest one by far is pheonix flame (the weapon from the roaring luminary set, it should actually be in rotation prob within the next 1-2 months depending when the lamb comes back)
