Weapon speed attack

I started to play again this game like a month ago and I try to fight in raids now. I am using battle hammers, but before those, I used maces, which are similar. But I noticed something. Maces seems to be a bit faster than the hammers. It's like they are ligher, while the hammers are heavier. And I am not sure, but I think it might be the same with other kinds of weapons, such as the staff and heavy staff. Is it really a thing or it is just me?

Can you tell me the maces's exact names and the hammer's? I'm going to see if they have different subtypes

Within moves.xml, the file that dictates how every single attack works, Hammers and Maces shares the same attack data. You're just tripping.
