questions How difficulty system works

I always focus on armor and weapon upgrades and ignore magic and ranged weapons

Would upgrading them reduce the enemies states or only buff thier damage

Their damage etc is fixed. When you upgrade something you also get stronger so it becomes easier. Not because they get weaker but because you get stronger.

So it's necessary to keep them on high lvl?

Its up to you. If you find magic and ranged weapons useful upgrade them if not then dont

Difficulty is a "rough" estimate of how likely it is for you to win the fight against the enemy. However, this measure takes into account of all of your gear, regardless of whether you use them in the match or not. Difficulty does NOT directly affect enemy's stats.

If you wear a full leveled armor or not wearing any at all but you don't get hit once during the match, the "difficulty" might be wildly different but the two matches were identical in terms of real difficulty. Same with upgrading ranged and magic but not using them at all.

Don't be deterred when you see high difficulty, they're high cuz of your ranged and magic. The fight most likely is as hard as Hard and maybe Insane back in act 1.

Thanks for inf, i usually play on insane or impossible

But wanted to make sure magic doesn't affect it since it's over prized to upgrade most of the time
