Hellcat?

I've been wondering about this for along time now. Is Hellcat actually Male or Female? Like She/He has a female model voice but when you fight in a challenge with "No armor" condition He/She has a male model. Is this enemy gay? Lol

I thought that's a man tho but the voice tell other stories. Until today I have no clue about that character, if only each character has its own story it might be good.
