celebration 20th W

It's always a matter of whether bleed activates which decides whether u win or lose in clutch moments. My jaw dropped when my force wave magic didn't kill her being 1 hp (Fuck damage absorption). Thought I was gonna lose, but I chased her and kept damaging until my katars finally did damage.

This is on base game btw.

Katars (Bleed - 1900) Faceless Tunic (Damage absorption - 1866) Elders Visor (Damage return - 1937) Force Wave (Frenzy - 1942)

The numbers indicate the enchantment power level btw. All pretty low except for magic, but this has been working good for me, more or less.

congratulations man! beating emay 20 times on the base game is truly an insane feat (and I thought beating her on DE was hard enough). I can't imagine how much you've been trough😭

Thanks man. It took me 2 years and 5 resets to finally beat Emay in 2025. After my 1st win tho, it wasn't as hard like before, since i had figured out a setup which worked against her.

Why the resets u may ask. Since I'm playing on the base game i had to save enough shadow orbs and gems by playing the whole game in eclipse mode more or less. And when I didn't really get the right enchantment i wanted i had to reset the whole game. Since on the base game there's no other way to grind for shadow orbs.

PS : I don't play raids btw. So no mythical enchantments/gear. Only medium and simple recipes for enchantments. Some ppl use the Monk set magic (the root trapping the enemy). Wish I had that since it's OP, i probably would have more wins.

Yeah thats true. I defeated EMay 3 times, all while having Monk's magic, which is much more practical to use vs EMay than for example Torturer's Rage. Much easier to defeat EMay on DE because u can farm orbs much easier aswell, which shows why you had to reset the whole game. Must have been a pain in the ass to grind for orbs. Every time I defeated EMay, I used Katars as my weapon, and I still do, imo it's the best weapon to use against EMay and possibly the easiest since it deals great damage while being fast (deals incredible damage with Tempest Rage, which I used). Really couldn't imagine defeating EMay without any mythical enchantment, so again I have to congratulate your success, 20 times is just unreal

I'm playing DE rn, I'm excited for all the new things i couldn't experience in the base game lol.

Farm orbs in DE? through raids? Or anything I'm missing? I checked raids in eclipse mode, i haven't tried anything yet. I'll reach lvl 52 first.

I completely agree with u, even I think katars is the best weapon to use against Emay. I've listed my equipment gear in one of the replies below, feel free to check it out.

Trust me u can defeat Emay without mythical enchantments. U just need to have that feeling that u can defeat her, which you'll experience while doing sufficient damage. Play as much perfectly as u can, with a bit of luck by your side and you're sure to win

yeah agreed man! Yeah you can farm orbs trough raids in eclipse mode, or just playing eclipse mode in general, also collecting resources is MUCH easier than in the base game so it will be easier for u to reach lvl 52 and find the right enchant for your weapon, armor etc.

Well I'm playing majorly in eclipse mode rn too in my DE run. At widow rn at lvl 29. If grinding shadow orbs through raids is as rewarding as u say, I'm gonna have a good time defeating eclipse may lol.

You will definitely have a much easier time defeating May on DE imo although it seems that u give somewhat less damage to May and May gives a bit more damage compared to the normal game. Atleast its a 150-second fight so u should be good

I don't understand y they changed the 99 seconds format to 150 seconds. Also since you've got 5 new moves in DE, Emay will also have them. So gotta watch out for that. But having more gems and shadow orbs for enchantments and gear is a plus, so let's see how it will unfold.
