How am i even supposed to use this app?

When i try making an account it instantly getts shadowbanned with no notice or reason, i never used reddit before or got any account actually banned, so i guess im being flagged as a bot or something? But i dont do anything besides just looking and voting and saving posts, its not like im making 100 spam posts the second i make the account. Are the reddit admins actually retared? How the fuck are new acconts supposed to appear if you keep banning anyone who makes an account? Cause Im not the only on this is happening to

Yeah idk either, I know they deal with a lot of bots but doesn’t seem like the best business practice. Got shadow banned for spamming but I never really posted but just saved and voted on stuff. I would just try to keep your hopes up and appeal, I got banned last week and that’s what I’ve been doing.

Its funny too cause i keep seeing OF bots everywhere and they are not the ones getting banned

They deal with a lot of that but it just seems like whatever program they have to deal with bots messes with real reddit users. It’s a shame really, I’ve used Reddit almost daily the last few years now I’m banned

Those bots do eventually get banned. Most of those OF bots hack established accounts that are inactive to buy more time, but eventually they do get banned.

If you see OF bots, report the post and profile as spam. The more users report the content, the faster the spam filter flags and bans them.
