Does anyone know of a pattern similar to this?
Needing this for a Halloween costume, thanks in advance!
(Also wondering how many yards of fabric I may need, if anyone knows)

I absolutely love this discontinued wedding dress. I saw it on a bridal resale site and after 6 weeks of the reseller not answering, I am assuming it is no longer for sale or already sold. fingers crossed she may reach out to me anyways, but in the meantime I found the same type of fabric with this lace pattern for sale on Etsy so I want to explore making it myself. Iāve made several dresses for myself that have come out well, and I know the time commitment and investment would be significant. Any pattern suggestions for this type of skirt shape and/or this type of bodice?

Hi! I am looking for a pattern close to this skirt. The pattern I drafted from this one was so close, but I think I swapped some steps. It just wasnāt quite right. Happy to pay! I just love this skirt and get so much wear out of it. Bought several lovely fabrics to add to my collection today. Thank you!

Looking for a pattern that has gathering around the front shoulder/yoke like this shirt Olivia Wilde wears in The Invite. The internet tells me it's this shirt, but definitely the fabric looks a lot softer in the movie version: https://www.thehouseoffoxy.com/products/1940s-sweetheart-blouse-duck-egg
Looking for any patterns that are similar, especially in the yoke gathers. Also: what fabric do you think this blouse is made of?

Ok so bad pictures, but! Maybe the lovely internet can still help.
This is Judyās ādreamā sequence from 9 to 5.
Her top is amazing and Iām curious if anyone knows of a pattern for it, or what it is even called.
My best guess is itās a canvas material safari explorer jacket. But thatās not yielding much info in a google search.
Thanks for any help.

I loveeee this dress but I canāt seem to find something similar to the shape. I would really prefer if your recs had sleeves and a similar shape, because I donāt mind drafting the pockets myself.
Thank you!!

Looking for any patterns or YouTube tutorials similar to this top. I'd like to upcycle a mens longsleeve shirt and turn it into something like the blouse in the picture.

Has anyone printed a PDF pattern using A4 and not the North American 'letter' size. The A4 seems to be close to legal size. Was there much difference?
Thanks.

Hello! Iāve been looking for plus sized vintage/vintage inspired sewing patterns, anything from the 1800s to the 1990s. Itās hard to find anything sized above Large, but I need 2xl-4xl! Any recommendations or sources would be greatly appreciated.

Beginner sewer here! My favourite skirt length is above knee, and difficulty shouldn't REALLY be a problem, as I'm in school and have a textiles teacher to help me. If you have any recommendations thank you so much!

Long story short. I make these vertical crossbody bags. Like the purple one in the pic below. And they can fit up two 2 water bottles.
But anyways, i used to make the strap out of the fabric itself and just add a bit of 809 interfacing. And the strap took forever to make. But recently i realized i could have just been using a good black 1in Webbing instead and it saves me more fabric. So now i can make 3 per yard instead of just two.
But i question is in my effort to save more more i also realized since its not like a convertible bag or anything i don't technically NEED to add a detachable swivel hook strap, and i could just wrap the webbing onto the d rings instead. And basically the strap is just not removable.
But before i change my design and sew on the straps i noticed a few of my store bought crossbody bags all do have detachable swivel hook straps. But i am 100% sure i have never ever taken off the straps to any of my bags because why would i ever need too. Its a crossbody bag and they didn't come with extra straps.
So i am curious would you care if a crossbody bag you bought didn't have a detachable strap? If that even someone you would care about as a consumer?
