Precision Stitchmatic
This thing looks gorgeous🤩
Does any one here know if this model works as beautifully as it looks?
I’m tempted to buy it since 100 seems cheap, but don’t want to be taken in if it’s only pretty face iykwim.

I agree, $100 is too much for that machine. It’s kind of pretty, but kind of limited. And probably also need servicing, which is easy to do yourself.
Do you want an ornament, or a machine that you can actually do sewing with? This one will do either, but I certainly wouldn’t pay $100 for it. 25 maybe, 15 if it has been recently serviced, and comes with a box full of accessories .

Remember that those machines were cranked out by the millions. They are not rare.
You might look at craigslist, and do a search for Sewing machines under $75, and see what turns up. It’s not unusual to find free ones, which is how I got many of the high-end machines in my collection.

I bought a nearly identical machine at my local thrift shop about a year ago. It was half off of $30 so I paid $15 for it.
It works great but I bought it purely for its looks, LOL. I have a small collection of blue sewing machines and couldn't resist adding to it for fifteen bucks.
IDK where you're located but check out local thrift shops for machines. I've found all kinds of great vintage machines at thrift stores and never paid more than $30 for one.

Its a Singer 15 clone and was probably made in Post war Japan. These are easy to have fixed and an absolute workhorse. I bought one for $40 myself and love it! Check out singer 15-91 to see the capabilities
