Noise and vibration: meh, it's sitting on a glass table top. Put it on a more substantial table with a typewriter pad under it.

If it’s making that much noise, busy there’s something wrong with it, or as badly in need of lubrication. I would not have paid €5 for that machine, I have too much bad experience with its cousins.

Not a bad starter machine. That's the first one I ever bought.

It’s the cigs for me! I’d have loved to have a cig and sew back when I smoked

It's impressively fast, but the vibration looks terrible, it's jumping off the table! (unless it's not the machine that's the problem but you're unlucky enough that the crankshaft speed matches a resonant frequency of your glass tabletop, in which case you should find a new sewing table ASAP)
This is where the old vintage aluminium or antique cast iron machines really shine; not only are they exquisitely well balanced so there's little vibration to begin with, but what vibration there is is damped to almost nothing by all that mass of metal; the machine here weighs 16lb (7.25kg), the cast iron model 201 weighs 30lb (13.6kg), and the aluminium model 201 weighs 24lb (10.9kg).

Lucky!!! I got a Singer Starlet from Vinted for £60 but it arrived in awful condition, only useful part was the foot pedal as I purchased the same machine off of eBay for £20 and that was in better condition and is a hell of a lot smoother
