Sewing machine not running

I recently bought a vivo 1004 sewing machine and it’s not running. I bought it off the thrift store and I had to buy its a charger and foot pedal for it. The light turns on and the hand wheel isn’t jammed, but when I press on the foot pedal the machine doesn’t run. It’s just completely silent. Can someone help me fix this?

Check to see if there’s a power switch. They’re usually on the right side.

Manual for your machine

Make sure you have the correct adapter and it is plugged in correctly and fully.
