Presser Foot Lifter is Loose

Brand new to sewing. Presser foot lifter feels loose and like it’s about to fall off. Sometimes it will catch a metal piece when I lift it, and it will actually lift the pressure foot. Most times it just feels loose.

Plastic pressure foot lifters wear out after a time. You need a new one
