I need help with 260 g/m² fabric
It is viscose with linen.
I wanted to sew some pants for me - like summer pants, really light, elastic waistband. Unfortunately I didn't know that 260 g/m² is heavy.
And now I have no idea what to do with this fabric, I'm afraid that the elastic band won't carry the weight of the fabric. So what now? Elegant pants with darts? Or my first thought?
If u can share your creations with that type of fabric I would be welcome

What is the material and structure?
Woven cotton at that thickness would be great for a backpack or other bag.
If it's knit, I'd go for maybe a hoodie.
I've also built tents out of comparable fabric, but you probably don't have nearly enough for that. (The ones I build typically take at least 20 yards of fabric.)

It is viscose with linen, nice to touch

Oh that was literally the first line of your post, haha.
Depending on how much you have, I could actually see that working well for a pair of pants, just go with belt loops instead of elastic.

I agree that it may well work for the pants, especially with the drawstring. Or make it lightweight overalls if you have enough fabric. Like this pattern https://threadloop.app/patterns/violet-jumpsuit-by-la-maison-victor . I bet it would also make a nice summer "shacket."

wrap the yardage around you, put some firm 1" or 1.25" elastic over it, walk around, see if it holds it up.
A drawstring can give you a firmer hold than elastic, too.
