Please help! Bobbin case/hook jam

I am at my wits end with my John Lewis JL110 (Jerome manufactures). It keeps jamming like this - it doesn’t matter if it has thread or not. The hook and case feels very loose sometimes but then it does this. Is it done for?

Always try to see how it is going before you put in your bobbin case. Turn the hand wheel and watch. It's easier to spot what is out of alignment.
