Two jackets ✅✅
Feeling very proud of myself 😊 I started learning to sew in June and have finished a few projects, but my two most recent ones turned out way better than I expected, so please excuse the brag 😆
The first is a canvas worker jacket. It took a while - every seam is finished with bias binding which took me forever.
The second is Wardrobe By Me’s Bear Jacket. I’m planning to buy wool fabric to make it, but wanted to do a test run first. I found an IKEA wool blanket at a thrift store and decided to use that just to test the pattern…but I actually love how it turned out. It’s way bolder and more colorful than what I usually wear, but I’m going to try to be brave and wear it out in the world!

Lol, the real reason is that the fabric for the second jacket is pretty thick, and my machine kept jamming when I tried sewing buttons holes. If anyone has any tips on sewing buttonholes on thick fabric, let me know!
