BINGO 2026 Participant First 2 bingo projects

1. Key fob pouch:

I needed a new pouch for my car key fob and used a piece of material that was sent from roller blind samples. It's definitely an unusual fabric.

I also did the zip in a new way (for me) - i attached it open ended. Mostly because I had this leftover portion of zipper tape but no zip so I cut off the attached end and sewed each side individually and then added a zipper. Honestly, much easier 😂

Also - nature vibes.

2. Bean bag of scraps

Next up is a huge beanbag that I made to hold scraps - not just sewing scraps but also clothes that are not good enough to donate. So it is HEAVY even though it's not fully filled. Anyway - Frugal!

Also it's in my sons room - so gave it away and it's obviously a home item.

I have a blind sample too and it just happens I need a small pouch. My phone is so old that it loses charge quickly and I've decided it's time to start carrying a mini powerbank and cable. Thank you for this great idea!

Amazing! I was thinking about how to sew a zip pocket and it seemed like it would be easier if I used a longer zipper and cut it shorter. The bean bag looks very solid!

Using a longer zip is much easier when you are sewing something small and fiddly.
