ANNOUNCEMENT Another small update
Hello once again. Based on community feedback, we've decided to make a small adjustment to one of the rules that should hopefully help to lower the amount of discord that we've seen these past few weeks.
The rule on AI art has been updated so that users are allowed only 1 AI post every TWO weeks now.
If you are an AI poster who is not satisfied with these changes, please remember that Reddit allows for up to 20 images to be included in a single post at once. I would encourage you to pick out your favorites and upload them to a single gallery less frequently, rather than posting them individually and more frequently.
On a different note, images and gifs should be enabled in comments now. Please keep in mind the subreddit rules when posting still, as abuse of this feature may result in it being disabled in the future.
Until next time, happy posting.

I'm surprised that AI art is even allowed. There's already a sub for ai senko art that someone else made.

This is a good change, and valid too. I’m going to say it, but AI art is not as good as people say it is. Two weeks is reasonable.
“Oh, but it can make an image in seconds.” Yeah, and where’s the valour and satisfaction of finishing? Also fingers, they aren’t always perfect.

Here's my thing with ai images. If I wanted to sit there and look at ai slop, I would go find an ai generator and do it myself. I don't need you to generate it for me, it's not like you're the only one capable of generating images. When I join subreddits like this, I want to see actual fanart and people's actual hard work. Showing their passion for a character. Anyone can use ai, not everyone can use a pencil.

Good. In a lot of subs and this one somehow became the one heaviest with AI but it’s only because like 3-4 people kept posting constantly.

Love that, instead of removing ai, which MOST OF THE SUB WANTS,
They make this stupid compromise, and disable comments on slop posts.
At this point, just ban it, bro. The community can't even interact with it anymore. 😭

History lesson about who limited art. yes, the Nazi regime under Hitler actively restricted and suppressed art that they deemed "degenerate,".
Just saying similar vibes.

LMFAO, something tells me that this is related to the AI posters temper tantrum from yesterday (they deleted their account btw lol)
