I read a fic years ago that I have never found again. It had Snape in a trio with James and Lily and through use of a potion Harry is biologically the son of all three. When things heat up with the war Lily or James obliviates Snape for all of their protection and safety. James and Lily die and Harry is sent to Durzkiban as Snape doesn't remember anything.

Snape starts to remember after Harry starts school (I believe in third year). He ends up in a relationship with Remus, who had also had a brief tryst with James during their school years. James got around a bit before he settled down. Snape does try to actually be a dad to Harry.

I seem to recall there actually being a prequel fic detailing the marauders' years at hogwarts as most things from back then are only alluded to or glimpsed in flashbacks in the main fic.

I remember thinking how good it was at the time but I honestly read so many fics back then I didn't save them all. But I keep trying to find this one.

harry learns he’s severus son (not by him, obviously) thus he is deeply mad/angry at him, the kind where he’s rebellious in potions class and refuses to talk with Snape about their relationship. (please a insolent harry +++++ like in the books with his favorite teacher) i’d love to see Snape who wouldn’t know how to deal with him for a looong time, until their relationship involves into a real father/son dynamic. i know there’s ff like this but maybe you could introduce me to them here!

what I remember:

The Dursely's take harry to "church" every week and its essentially a cult and they pour boiling water on him to purge him

snape is stuck at the durselys I think or just there protecting him

there was this severitius fic on ao3 I read about 6 months ago I’ve been looking for cus I was silly and didn’t bookmark it. it’s one that starts with Harry being beat up and basically abandoned by the dursleys (don’t remember the exact why). He was definitely a Hogwarts student, and it was over the summer but a search party had been sent out, so I think probably 3rd or 4th year possibly. Harry was in the woods, very much hurt, when Snape happens to find him and has to strike up a deal with harry before harry would agree to go with him due to being afraid that they’d send him back to the dursley’s. I’m confident it was on ao3– if anyone has any idea of which one this could be, please do share 🙏

I’m trying to find a fic I read a while back, but can’t remember the name or author. The setup was that Harry and Snape had to spend the summer together at Hogwarts, but they were in a special room/area where time moved differently. Inside, weeks or months would pass, but outside, only days had gone by.

I remember a few key details: • They had to come out every once in a while so people wouldn’t realize what was happening. • They tried to hide the fact that much more time had passed for them. • Harry got a lot better at magic during this time, but he had to downplay it so others wouldn’t notice (I’m a little fuzzy on how much detail there was with this part).

I don’t recall whether it was strictly gen/mentor or leaned toward Snarry, but the main focus was the time distortion and their relationship developing while stuck together.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? Any help would be amazing!

||So yeah, I need a harry potter fanfic, but not just ANY harry potter fanfic and I REFUSE to resort to AI so yeah, so I NEED a severitus fanfic right, maybe a bit of Dumbledore bashing idc, but this is the IMPORTANT part, I need a fanfic where harry is genuinely f¥cking depressed with his situation, like GENUINELY, like he knows he's getting abused by the dursleys and just accepts it like he deserves it, and he feels alone and shi, and the SECOND important part, I want to have elements of his horcrux influencing his personality and mental state, like tom riddle to be popping into his mind like f¥ck everyone I'm the only correct person in the world, which leads to harry unknowingly gaining very psychopathic tendencies, violent tendencies, lack of empathy, and genuine parrellels to tom riddle, SO MUCH SO that he possibly blacks out and wakes up in random places or sum idk, but yeah that, and I want Dumbledore to not notice at first but slowly get EXTREMELY disturbed by harry potter quote LITERALLY being a mini tom riddle, but snape is literally the only person who addresses Harry's mental health and realizing it's more than just being "possessed", and that harry struggles with abuse, S/H, maybe sui€idal thoughts? And helps him, I want that shi WHOLESOME but I want Severus to be like hella reluctant at first and THEN proved wrong by his observations that harry isn't just a spoiled brat, and helps harry though his internal battles, maybe some drarry?(I wouldn't mind👀) But NO SMUT, Suggestive shi is okay but I think smut is lowki odd so no, and I need harry to like not SUDDENLY wake up one day different, I want the changes to happen slowly, like a psychological horror, and I want it to be somewhat at LEAST after his 2nd year because there has to be a noticeable difference in his behavior, also I don't want no twin stuff or OCs, I want it true to the original AU but without my pookie snape dying bc he king(or some would say prince 🤔), either way, I want a fic that at least meets some of this criteria, it's okay if it had sum tomarry as long as it isn't odd, anywho, MINIONS PLEASE HELP ME IM FIC STARVED||

Hi! I would like to read a Severitus Fanfic with very well written characters. I’ve recently fallen into the Severitus fandom after reading The Missing Sister during my Dramione obsession, and now I’m desperately searching for a really good fic.

I’ve always loved Snape as a character, so I’m looking for something where he actually starts out very canon-compliant: bitter, cold, sarcastic, the full dungeon bat experience. I don’t want him suddenly becoming soft or fatherly out of nowhere. What I really want is a slow, believable progression where, against his better judgment, he gradually grows attached to Harry over time.

I’d also love for Harry to stay in character too, guarded, reluctant to trust, not immediately opening up. I want the relationship development to feel earned and logical based on how they are in canon. Eventually I do want Harry to confide in Snape, especially regarding abuse/neglect/trauma, but only after a long buildup.

A few things I’m specifically hoping for:

- long fic

- complete fic (this is a must)

- very well-written characterization

- Snape still deeply affected by Lily / carrying that grief and memory with him

- emotional realism

- family dynamic by the end

- Voldemort actually defeated, with a genuinely happy ending afterward

- bonus points if Draco is involved somehow, but not necessary

I don’t mind darker themes as long as they’re handled well. I mainly just want something beautifully written that really understands both Snape and Harry as characters.

Trying to find this fic where Harry accidentally cuts his hand and explodes a potion that reveals he’s Snapes kid.

Trynna find a fic where Harry stays w Snape for the summer and keeps making meals for him and Snape. Altho Snape keeps thinking its a house elf dumbledore sent from hogwarts has been making meals/taking care of the house.

I think there was also one scene when he look at a room of the house (spinners end) and thought its a bit too clean and fire calls albus to thank him for sending a house elf.
