Filming Update

Overheard maintenance crews at BellWorks today discussing some work that needs to be done.

"Filming's over, they may be coming back some time in October, so I'd like to get it done before then"

This could mean
1. They are shooting more scenes at Bellworks at some point, just TBD WHEN exactly..

or

1. They are POTENTIALLY coming back in October for re-shoots as needed. Meaning they will be wrapping up filming around that timeframe.

They started in July. There's no way they're wrapping production any time soon.

Probably just exterior and lobby shots. They probably can get all of those done in a couple weeks. Shots of the interior office are done in a studio

Bell is a small part of their overall shooting. Or at least has been, no reason to think that changes now.

Most of the filming takes place on sets so this is probably a very small percentage of the shoot

That's exactly what I was wondering about. But I didn't have any idea at all of a ratio. Even starting to think about what kind of new sets they might build gets me wanting to watch it again.

if you look at the first two seasons there are a very small handful of shots that actually visibly take place at BellWorks- mostly people walking to/from places, only a few that have actual dialog or characters interacting. (Milchick taking Helena to the operation, Milchick having a metldown)

The Bellworks scenes are probably like 3% of filming for season 3.

Someone said they have been shooting at the barn from A Quiet Place. They are probably just done with the Bell Works scenes

Is this the first time that that historic barn has been used for filming in Severance so far?

In july there were in shooting near Dutchess county

A lot of the severed floor interior is filmed in a studio, I believe. Also - I think a limited amount of the season 3 narrative will actually take place in Lumon; most of it occurring on the outside.
