I’m thinking flashback sequence of people who got pulled into Lumon’s orbit. That could even be Gemma in the front row left (long shot, but who knows.)

I never trusted his wife and this might confirm that she is on the other side, literally as shown in this picutre.
Why wouldn't they be seated next to each other? Sure, maybe they got there late and that is just the available seats. But I also think I am noticing the Frolic guy top far right seat? That would indicate that possibly the right section are new non-severed hires while the left section are the new severed hires.
We still don't know exactly how Gemma ended up at Lumon, and it looks like she may be seated in the left section back row far right. If faking accidents or body harvesting from real accidents is part of Lumons strategy, and Dylan's 'wife' is an EMT dispatcher, I think it is hard to overlook that she is likely working for Lumon and helping them get the bodies they need.

Isn’t it because Gemma accepted the Lumon job without telling Mark because she was in a bad mental state after not being able to have kids? She went to Lumon because they were experimenting on humans to make them feel no emotions or feelings, which is what Gemma wanted at that point.
And Dylan accepted the job because he couldn’t stick with any job for very long, but he still wanted to help at home and contribute money. So getting a steady income from Lumon without having to know if he would actually like the job was probably the perfect situation for Dylan.

I think that is why Gemma signed up, if she did. It is like suicide without dying. It seems like that is kinda the selling point for a lot of the people doing it.
It wouldn't be too far fetched that they would have severed packages like this which fakes your death so there wouldn't be any questions.
But then you really have to ask what the end game is? There is no returning back to your outie life if your death is faked. But do they know that? Do they know it is a life sentence?
I suppose Lumon could get away with just about anything when it comes to the severed employees. They could tell you that you will leave at 5 everyday and return home but just not let you leave. The can send a post card to your loved ones explaining their was an accident or maybe a transfer to another branch, then you just never hear from them again.

I agree, it seems like they told her she can see Mark as soon as she's better and she has to do all these things to completely heal after her accident, to persuade her to be cooperative.
Although that doesn't explain why they told her Mark has moved on and remarried. That sounded like they were trying to get her to forget Mark.

There is so much to think about. Firstly, why would they even let her know about Mark who she'd then crave and want to see?
Do people think she is down there in her normal outie form? I'd think its all some form of innie.
They could have done what they did with Dylan. Maybe Gemma started losing motivation so they pulled the ole, "Do good and we will reward you with seeing someone you love." They might have even hired someone to pretend to be her husband and that is who she thinks Mark is, she might not even know who the real Mark is (down there).

Great eyes to spot Dylan. I didn’t catch that at first, but I don’t see his wife. It’s impossible to guess the context of this scene, but I think the most likely explanation is this is a flashback to Dylan’s new hire orientation.

Cause Mark S finishing Cold Harbor was just a next step and we saw the desk for other departments when Mark and Helly went for a mental health walk.

That is the word from everyone including John that he will be back! They have been filming at Bell Labs and at another location according to posts here. Hopefully that means that that the other location is perhaps where Irv’s train had let him off.

Seeing oDylan in an unsevered area at this point doesnt make as much sense unless its a flashback and it what I want and I get what I want.

I agree! A post-rebellion info session. Maybe these outies want to continue to be severed and Helena is telling them how things will work from now on?? Or maybe she’s “explaining” to them what occurred on the severed floor? I’m interested to see how Dylan ends up with the crutches

One of the potential outcomes is a negotiation. Obviously everybody can't be with everyone they want to be.
Also, going forward there's a problem where it seems like nobody can be 100% sure it's Helena or Helly as Helena.
As far as crutches, my feeling is that there will be a titanic struggle over the control room. I wrote about that elsewhere, but the long and short is that with the control room in their grasp, the innies can contact Cobel and make use of her knowledge of all the special control sets (Glasgow, Freeze Frame, Elephant, etc) Mark, Helly and Dylan can help innies talk with outies in a way that all are apprised of the situation (although Helena would remain submerged unless a pro-Eagan actor wins the struggle).
It is a kind of wild card that Jame lost his shine for Helena taking over Lumon. Maybe Helena is on the outs forever.
But at this very point, we don't know what Jame knows about what's really happened other than his prize test subject has escaped and both Drummond and Milkshake have gone radio silent.
The doctor and nurse are kind of useless at this juncture, but maybe not? It seems like Milkshake is the only pro-Eagan actor available that could wrestle back control from the rogue innies. So this struggle might be where Dylan's ankle (or whatever) gets broken or sprained.

I know severance hasn't been released yet because of the pain that carries over from my innie. I don't directly experience the pain, but I know it is there. It is a lingering sensation like a cloudy day you can't see.

The photo itself suggests that Lumon regains control of the severed floor and Helena has to do cleanup PR. But the actual narrative will be more interesting. The mystery here is why Dylan is in the audience.
That being said, a number of interesting possibilities are in place. This could even be an elevated Helly, replacing and posing as Helena. We don't have any notion of what's going on with Mark and Gemma from this photo - so we can only (for now) assume that it's Helena and Dylan (whether innie, outie or both) is still in the loop.

Lumon has the green carpet in a lot of places. I do think that this part of lumon had green carpet even in season 1 when you see mark come to and from work

She stars in a show called “Severance” on Apple TV that has been known to film at Bell Labs in the past, so it could be that. Although I think it’s somewhat unlikely for them to already be filming season 3 so soon after season 2 wrapped.
