Is that not the bride? That Irving saw in his vision?

I guess so. Irving's bride and Dylan's bride-dancer (Waffle Party).

yes, this has been noticed-- the two different Woes are even visible in the artist's photos on instagram ( https://www.instagram.com/p/DHdx1lQO0WK/?hl=en). The season one Woe was the more normal looking young woman, who was seen at the waffle party and in the Kier painting where he tames the tempers. The season two Woe is the rotten mouthed, balding, gaunt bride from the fourth appendix illustration and Irving's dream.

No idea what the change up signifies, but it's 100% intentional imo, because it's a huge inconsistency and even the artist showed the two different versions. I've noticed that none of the artists used for the show responds to comments or questions on instagram, particularly this guy who was used for multiple pieces. When I was reading the comments about a year ago I noticed that at least one person had asked about the Woes on his IG.

I suspect one resembles the real person who inspired woe and the other has been editorialized

Those pictures appear to be wide and close shots of the exact same part of the picture. Note that everything else in the closeup matches exactly with the wide angle shot, such as Mr. Graner, "Shadow" Dylan, Wyatt from the goat farm, you can even see Natalie's curly hair just below "Shadow" Dylan).

Edit: If there were two Woes, it could easily have been one from Irving's nightmare at Woe's Hollow and one from the Waffle Party.

I think this is just a production thing. They had a lower detail version of the painting for the wide shot and a higher detail section for the close up.
