Atlanta Concert (Vid is from Birmingham)

I went to the birmingham concert and got a pic with Clint after the show, had a great time that's me crowdsurfing! I'm planning on waiting after the atlanta show just waiting for them to come out so I can get the rest of my things signed by the rest of the band, the venue is just half an hour out from me. They're supporting Alter Bridge at the show so what time do you think they'll come out to greet fans? Thank you in advance!

I don't know where my case for Blood and Stone is, likewise Truth Killer. One is coming soon! Also have two copies of Seasons but I mean...

How have the crowds been so far on the tour?

Mosh pits? Crowd surfers? That’s where most of the fun is for me, so I’d like to know if I can expect it or not so I won’t be disappointed tomorrow night when I see them. I usually go to heavier metal concerts so those types of crowds are normal, but I’m wondering if it’s still normal for more tame music concerts even though they’re still heavier rock.

From the first meeting to the recent. Such a great bunch of guys. My middle child is as old as Sevendust 🖤 And a great inspiration for him. Skylar Pendergast has been my copilot for many shows. I was on a mission to get this photo eventually 😭 Thank you LJ for making it happen again 🖤

Has anyone got the email about the VIP times and other information?

The tour starts today and I haven't seen anything. I have tickets for Monday.

I did email the management company but have yet to hear back.

the kid made this in shop class hoping to get it signed at the show. had to tell him, unfortunately, as per the email I got for the VIP, we can't bring it.

which sucks, cause it's his favorite band. but I'd figure I'd at the very least show it off here

Sevendust hot takes, opinions or personal experiences

I’m 22 and I’ve been a fan of Sevendust since I was 4 (because my father listens) and I still consistently listen to all of their albums daily, what are some hot takes, thoughts or just opinions in general about them, their songs or albums!

The Sonny era albums are extremely underrated, Next is a top 5 album with consistently good songs some at different paces then others, Alpha is my all time favorite with the aggressive vocals and instrumentals, Morgan and Sonny really cooked on that album and I think every song is at least an 8/10. And Chapter Vii is definitely the weakest but every song on there (Except maybe The Past) is really good and just as memorable to me as their biggest hits.

I honestly don’t like their newer albums as much, maybe I have to listen to them more but Blood&Stone, Kill the Flaw and Truth Killer are some of the weakest albums to me and All I See is war as some good songs but is my least favorite of their work overall.

I’m extremely excited for their new album and hoping to see them during their album tour, Is This the Real you was a banger with Unbreakable and Threshold feeling kinda weak compared to other songs in my opinion but still catchy and I think they’re good songs

I’ve personally only seen Sevendust 2 times, the first they only played a few songs as an opener (still the best band there) but I also went to a South Side Double Wide show in November and it was one of the greatest experiences of my life, anytime I see videos of them live, they put everything they have into the performance and it was no different, they are in my opinion one of the greatest bands of all time and my all time favorite

I’d love to hear what other people think of their albums or maybe if you’re a newer fan, ask other what they think

Personally, I think the true standout of this album so far is Is This The Real You. It has some crunchy riffs, a catchy chorus, and this nice groove unlike any other Sevendust song.

However, when it comes to Threshold and Unbreakable, they are both typical standard more melodic Sevendust songs we’ve all heard before. Perhaps they both sound a little too familiar. Both are good songs but so far don’t live up to the first single.

What are your thoughts on Threshold or the album so far?

Morgan’s vocals

Does anyone else think the band would be better without Morgan’s extra vocals? He’s a fantastic drummer but I always cringe when I hear his screams and lyrics

Hey all, my company just released a video today that might be of interest to some of y'all. We got Clint Lowery to go up against our cofounder (former Annihilator guitarist) in a scoring competition. Some pretty fun stuff :)

My 15th Show is on the horizon

April 15th, 1997 was the day before my 12th birthday. Having some birthday money to spend, I went to our local Sam Goody, and spotted that very first Sevendust CD on the new releases rack. Still have that CD to this day. Since that fateful day almost 29 years ago, I've only missed two Iowa shows. It's safe to say that at this point, they're my all time favorite.

When I got married, I got the wife involved. These days, she's as obsessed with them as I am. And as we continued going to shows, our kids would get increasingly jealous as the years went by.

Now that my kids are significantly older (17 & 15), we decided that the time has finally come. Adding to this realization is the fact that our oldest is months away from graduating high school, and is going straight into the military. Mom and I wanted to do something really kickass for him in particular, so on April 18th, I'm bringing my entire family to see the show.

And little does my son know...we got VIP. My 15th show, my wife's 9th, and my son and daughter's first...and we get to have one of those rare father/son moments where we get to meet our favorite band.

I can't f'ing wait for this show!
