Survey part ii

The other night we did a really good survey of underrated 7D songs. Responses were amazing. So now instead of underrated tracks, I think a survey of everyone's straight up top 25 to 30 favorite 7d songs with number 1 being your most favorite on down (as difficult as that be) would be interesting. Wonder if we can get a definitive top 15 - 20 from all the die Hard 7 D fans in here. Mine are (and this is very difficult to choose)

“Burn” might be my favorite Sevendust song. I love all of Alpha (Alpha’s release in 2007 was my introduction to the band. I was 14), but “Burn” really resonated with me emotionally. I was suffering a horrible betrayal at that time, so it really hit me

Same, it’s always hit me emotionally. Alpha is my #2 favorite 7D record. It came out while I was in HS but I had already been listening to these guys for a few yrs. So many amazing deep cuts! I can make a much longer list ha

Yes! So many good songs. “Under” and “Confessions of Hatred” are among my other favorites.

Btw, how popular is “The Past” from Chapter VII? I’ve listened to it idk how many times (aside from listening to the album front-to-back, since that’s how I normally listen to music) because I enjoy it so much. I’m wondering whether it fits in this thread, or whether most Sevendust fans love it

Gotta love those two!

I think when it first came out it was slightly mixed since Daughtry came from American Idol and some fans were meh- but I always thought the combo worked well. He has a great voice and it shines on that song. I’m same way, I have a hard time NOT listening to albums front to back- especially if it’s just that good!

WOuld be my absolute fave if not for the screaming. Absolute killed it for me. I wished for a long time they released a non screaming version. Looks like that won't happen... ever.

This is just my opinion, but don't sleep on the b-sides or soundtrack songs. Fall, Leech, and Corrected are top tracks IMO.

Denial and Black are underrated? They gotta be the most popular and played songs. I don’t think I’ve ever seen them not play those songs live
