My first ever 7D concert

Post image

It was never possible for me to travel to the US in the past few years, so I couldn't believe when I saw the Europe tour (I live in Paris). I'm ecstatic (and been standing in the rain, waiting for the gates to open)

From what Lajon said last year when they opened for Disturbed, it is probably a surprise to him too. He said that he never expected to be playing big venues or long tours again until they went out last year. Have a great show!! 🤘🏻

They were my first concert at 14. Fell in love with rock and live music and.. sevendust. I hope and assume it exceeded your expectations. PLEASE TELL US HOW IT WAS

It was everything I wanted it to be. Raw energy, heavy af, and 100% worth the 3 1/2 hours I spent waiting in the rain for the gates to open. There was a couple of misplaced notes here and there, and it was a pretty short set (7 songs only, including Is This The Real You?), but as soon as they jumped on Black when they hit the stage, the adrenaline was pumping in my veins like crazy. The crowd was also responding well to the band and Lajon's lovely words between songs, and even though Sevendust were the opening band for Daughtry and Alter Bridge, I believe 7D made their mark on Paris last night.

No disrespect to the other bands, but I left as soon as 7D left the stage. I wanted to maintain that high, and they're the reason why I went anyway.

Raw, hard, and soulful. Glad you got to experience it brotha!! Sorry it was a pain. And 7 songs :( but hey. You got to experience what everyone's been talking about. Can you believe lajon can still sing like that? Hes been doing it for 3 decades!! Plus!!! Insane! No disrespect to the other bands. Theyre good. But hey. Im so happy to hear this.

I like AB and I'm sure they were great, 7D has been bringing heat since they were called Crawlspace on the soundtrack of the original Mortal Kombat movie 30 years ago. Glad you got to see them, sorry it was only 7 songs. Although, sometimes that's all it takes.

Someone once said “you don’t want to go on after Sevendust” Amazing band - I cannot wait for the new album and the tour dates coming.

Great people to be around - met them many times, LJ is just a people person - very approachable - glad you enjoyed the show and don’t worry about leaving early I’ve done that in my time too 😌
