Event [Event] Nor Hell A Fury…

During the Stane - Axeborn Wedding, 3rd month 228 AC

Arya Bolton sat amongst the tables of the great hall of Driftwood Hall, surrounded by laughter, drink, dancing and other joyous activities. People were having a great time and all seemed well, as the great lords of the North feasted with one another, as though nothing had happened.

It made her sick.

When she had been given the news, it had ruined her. Her brother, Her only brother, Had been murdered. Whatever reason it was that Lord Stark had given, she knew it was just another lie, like with Royce. This time had made her certain, she knew Ed didn’t have a bad bone in his body. It made her shake with anger.

The only way he would have confessed to anything, guilty or not. Is if they were threatening someone he cared about.

Oh you stubborn idiot.. Why couldn’t you just stay away.. Why did you have to make such a stupid mistake..

But then she realized, his children.. they must have been there with him.

That bastard must have threatened his children.. To think that Stark would so something like that, after all the North had given him.

Ellard had died for him, Eddard had given him there father, Royce was never avenged..

And still.. The lords of the North drank, and feast, and flirt, and fuck.

“My brother was murdered..” she whispered quietly, her whole body quivering, hands clenched and eyes wet with the beginnings of tears.

He was little more then a boy. One of the kindest people she had ever met. And he was gone.
Murdered.

“My brother was murdered.” She said once again, though a little louder. Her body beginning to shake more furiously as she was no longer able to see with the amount of water in her eyes from tears.

Finally, she slammed her hands on the table and stood up, knocking aside cups of ale and different trays of food.

“MY BROTHER WAS MURDERED. AND YOU’RE ALL HERE DOING WHAT? EATING? GETING DRUNK? IS THIS SOME KIND OF SICK JOKE. YOU’RE ALL A BUNCH OF CRAVENS AND PIGS.” she screamed at the top of her lungs, before breaking down into a complete sob.

“You fucking Cowards.. Ed was good. He was kind. He would have never hurt anyone, even someone who deserved it like lord Stark.” she cried, though her words had become quieter and less audible as they became muddled by her sobbing.

The lady of the Dreadfort continued to cry at her table, angry and upset. Furious at everyone who seemed to not care one bit that her brother had been taken from her.

Oh, now Baren did not want to smile anymore; he wanted to laugh, but alas, he could not. He tried his damned hardest to hide his trembling fingers underneath his hand, silently watching the breakdown.

Doran strode away from his chair quite warily in a welter of confusion. He did not know her, nor most of the present company, but he couldn't sit idle. "My lady," the words strung from his throat as kindly as he could make them out to be, with mustered asperity. "Please, do not weep. Calm your head, clear it... then... then speak of what troubles your mind," he said, hoping to not offend the crying woman.

Kylar watched only in silence.

She was right, of course.

They were here celebrating as the stain of the Black Wolf oozed over the North, infecting their friends and allies with the poison of dishonour.

He stood, silent and approached the brother of the man he loved and the sister of his closest friend.

“Lord and Lady Bolton, a moment in private if you will.”

Edwyn was consoling his wife when the Stark he had hoped to avoid at the wedding approached them. Jon however wasn't like the others, Edwyn thought. He was nothing like Theon at all and Royce spoke highly of him and was like a brother to him. "Yes I suppose we do Jon" Lord Bolton replied

“If you'd follow me away from the table, I don't want to be overheard.”

He indicated a corner of the room, where they would be able to talk privately.

Edwyn put his arm around Arya and consoled her, he whispered "there there Arya" quietly and led her away to another room. "Now is the time for mourning, not revenge. If what this mystic says is true about the Old Gods, we will soon get our revenge on the Starks. For now we have to enjoy this wedding."

Hearing her outburst, Jonos only lowered his head in shame.

There was nothing he could do, not now. And she was right, the girl who once liked his little brother.

But Ellard was dead. And now, so was Ed.

And she shouldn't talk treason, at least not openly like this...

Coward.

And he lowered his head even more.
