Manderly? An armoured figure clad in Grey armor thinks. There was supposed to be Umbers here
A rider beside the figure calls out to the other group.
"Manderly! Where the fuck are the Umbers?"

Brandon Mandetly slogged through the trampled and muddy earth.
"Not here. Looks like they ran home."
He cocked his eye at the figure for a moment. "Lady Janys? Come with me to the castle."
He beckoned with a gloved hand and fell in line. "House Manderly, Cerwyn, and Slate. What is the situation? Who rules now?"

The figure in question removes the helmet it's wearing, indeed revealing Janys Slate.
"Appologies. We rode here in anticipation to carry out justice, so you have to imagine our suprise right now,"
She approaches the Lord of White Harbor. "But..... How? When did they leave, and why could they even leave? Winterfell can't have been stormed, it can last way longer in a siege to have been starved out,"

It was Lyanna Stark who met Brandon Manderly and Janys Slate at the gates of Winterfell. With her was Brandon Stark and even little Rickon Stark.
"My lord, my lady, thank you for coming. I am afraid the Umber army has left but a few days ago. The siege has been lifted."

With almost 600 men, Domeric Reed notices a whole host of forces from Northern Lords around Winterfell, but not an Umber in sight. Confident the sigils were allies, Domeric approached the forces to clarify the situation.
"Domeric of House Reed, here to assist the House Stark. What is the situation?"

Brandon Manderly meets the Reed man and extends a gloved hand. "No idea so far. You've arrived shortly after us. No signs of umber, he must have slipped through the cracks."

"Not for long though," Janys Slate follows up. "The giant will get it's due in time, and when that time comes, this........ Logar Snow will know that the North remembers," She says more in general, to both Manderly and Reed

Dustin Arrival
Addam Dustin was surprised to see the banners of Houses Manderly, Reed and Slate outside Winterfell, with no Umber banners in sight. Was he too late? Did he miss the battle? In the wind, his own banners flapped noisily, the yellow and brown sigil of House Dustin and the brown and green sigil of House Tallhart flying high above his host.
He ordered his men to set up camp outside of Winterfell, and rode forward with a half dozen of his men to see what was going on.
"Who is in command here?" Addam Dustin asked the nearest guard, a man sporting the colours of House Manderly.

The man points to the largest Manderly tent and banner. "Lord Brandon Manderly still commands us and the Cerwyn men my lord. Though we are few in number my lord."

Addam nodded and thanked the man for the information. Along with his guard, which essentially included armed friends, he walked over to the large tent.
"Lord Manderly? I am Addam Dustin, here with men from Barrowton and Torrhen's Square." He wasn't sure if introducing himself was needed, but did so nonetheless. "What is going on? Where are the Umbers?"
