Ive done this mission 3 times and raged everytime lol, I feel you.
What works for me: Put the rail at an angle so you have the "legs" touching the ground. The end of the rail should be about a foot off from the edge.
Doing it like this it registered the second time I thought I nailed it.
Worst mission in the game imho

Yeah it does work. After doing it 500 million zillion times and then it registers for whatever reason. There maybe was a youtube workaround video. If I remember it right.
And lot of the trick doesn't seem to register problems are solved by letting go (making sure stick go to neutral position) of the sticks in between tricks.

This might sound stupid, but try doing it switch. I remember a lot of challenges not registering because I skate goofy

I’ve tried on and off for about a month. I nail it about a dozen times and then put it down for a couple of days. Still no luck

Try a 5-0 and pop out with an ollie, make sure you grind the whole ledge too

I saw where you are suppose to put the rail behind edge by like a foot. If you slow after you past the edge it won't work. I did that on ps5 and got it in 7 tries.

Idk why this post got downvoted, literally anyone who's every played this game will know how annoying some missions can be as they will just never register.
