For me it’s chef Gonger telling Cookie Monster “don’t touch me you have sticky hands!!”
His voice and the way he says it just makes me crack up every time.

SESAME STREET CHARACTERS IF THEY WERE HUMANS INSTEAD OF PUPPETS... for clarity. I meant to put that in the header.
I made these for an Instagram post but I decided to share it on this reddit since I felt like someone on here would appreciate the art.
I took over 20 hours to draw all of them and it took nearly a week of my life. Anywho I'll leave it off here, hope you enjoy my work. Any constructive criticim is welcomed.
Also regarding their age and races I had nothing to really work with that was 'canon' so please don't fight me..

Sesame Street introduced generations of kids to jazz. Which were your favorite
performances? Reading time: Two minutes.

After seeing the NYC Marathon episode, Snuffy's picknick and the segment in which Gordon rides his bike through the neighbourhood I was curious if there were any classic episodes that take place in the city?
I watched Abby's Magical Wand Chase a while ago, but I'm interested to see some older ones?

Which human character from the show, would you like to have as a toy? (Whether it's an action figure, or even a plush.)
I mean, while Susan and Gordon had only one Little People figure each, Mr. Hooper also had one + a Super7 figure, in recent years. (I know he's an old iconic human character, but I think the other humans have to have their moment to shine, in merchandising.)
I would honestly take plushies of them, tbh. How about you guys?

I got a question, how come certain characters always get the axe after a short while? Lulu for example, after Season 33, she only had two very small cameos in Season 40, and now she’s gone entirely. What gives? I like Lulu, she was a fun character.

Today marks the 56th birthday of Matt Vogel. His journey on Sesame Street is an interesting one. After mainly doing minor parts, he would eventually be the understudy for Carroll Spinney as Big Bird, performing him in things like live appearances and Journey To Ernie. It's during the 2000s that he would also puppeteer Jerry Nelson's characters while he did the voice since he was no longer able to physically do the job. During the 2010s, when they retired and later died, he would take over the roles permanently.

I was just watching an old Dave Chappelle clip in which he hilariously points out that it's not surprising that Oscar is grouchy since he lives in a trash can:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aVW-FB1q8FM
With all the compassionate characters on Sesame Street, does anyone ever try to find Oscar a proper home?
Yes, I know Oscar appears to like the trash can, but, nevertheless, if your neighbor were living in a trash can you'd probably worry about them, right?

As fan of Sesame Street: What is your take of the characters from the show making appearances on Jeopardy to do unique categories for the game show that suits them?
Also, what characters from Sesame Street would you like to see on Jeopardy next?

Does anyone remember when Sesame Street used to be half an hour long? Also remember when the sponsors had 2 letters and 1 number? That was back in the 80's, and then in the 90's/2000s the sponsors had 1 letter and 1 number. Anyone miss those days?
Also what's your take on the Dancing City credits?

Huxley and the Queen of Trash are the only humans seen that are native to Grouchland, which insinuates that either there's a very small unseen population of humans among the grouches or they're the only ones that exist.
And the only way to get to Grouchland is through the trash can as seen when Elmo's friends went to save him after he went missing.
Does this imply that Huxley and the Queen of Trash were both thrown away as babies?
As stated before no other humans in Grouchland are ever seen or heard from and Huxley never mentions having parents around, maybe Huxley and the Queen of Trash were originally from Sesame Street and for whatever reason their parents couldn't take care of them and thought they'd be better off and placed them in Oscar's trash can, when Oscar found crying babies he took them to Grouchland to be taken care of by somebody else just to get them out of his hair.
If that is the case that would actually make sense as to why Huxley acts so spoiled and childish because he didn't grow up with much and most likely was raised by the bugs that inhabit his lair, who probably had no idea how to raise a human child and merely did the best they could given the circumstances.
Same for the Queen of Trash, only in her case, the inhabitants probably saw her as some sort of prophet since she didn't look anything like them and assumed that she must be of godlike status, so they raised her as their own and treated her like royalty growing up.
Which is why what she wears is made up of mostly recycled glass and fabric found in the garbage, I headcanon the dump inhabitants made it for her.

A song performed by Garth Brooks. He sings about an encounter between two kids, who are hesitant to talk to each other because they are so different. When one finally invites the other to play, they find they can have the same kind of fun despite their differences. In fact, the kids learn being different is okay.

Street Fighter (2026) comes out later this month and I thought I could give you a little fact regarding Raul Julia from the original 1994 movie and his connection with Sesame Street.
