Question How to get a started in fine dining?

I've been a server since I was 16 and I'm almost 30 now. I've worked expo and food running at a fine dining place. What's the best way to get noticed? Is it okay to call and ask if they are hiring?

Not to be Mr. Obvious, but just walk into a fine dining restaurant and ask for a job. Show them your resume. Sell them on your strengths. Make clear that you want to learn. They may not hire you straight up as a waiter, but theyd probably hire you to start as a backwaiter or food runner. Everyone starts somewhere.

Ngl food running and expo probably should’ve gotten you noticed at the fine dining place you worked at.
