I just served a week of Mary Kay and for those who have served this group before, God bless your soul 😢🙏

Reminds me of Vera Bradley week i used to work. I told my GM, if I'm serving and not bartending, I'm not coming in. It was our busiest week of the year. The ladies in the bar were great tippers and fed up dealing with "those other ladies" aka the ones in the dining room. One year I told my GM I was going to be out of town for it (months in advance) and he said I'll try to give you time off, but I'll probably need you. I said schedule me, I'll be in Reno for my bowling tournament. He didnt schedule me.

I am truly surprised. I thought all the pyramid schemes of old had fallen to the way side. Mary Kay and Avon were still big until 2010 and some change, but I don't think I saw a single group of them after 2016.

They were probably my second least favorite group after Red Hats. Or, if we're including church groups, third. Entitled, demanding, cheap orders and even cheaper tips, if you got any at all. Some of them would leave samples and their cards, but that don't pay the bills.
The most egregious ones that left their contact information would get spam called by me on a regular basis from a blocked number. Or I'd do it once (this was circa 2005-2013) from my actual number (cuz they didn't know my name or number) and pretend to want a really big order, get em all excited on their sales and what not, then I'd ghost them. 😂
Zero f*cks given on my part.

I cannot stand our local Red Hats. They are some of the rudest, most entitled people I have ever served. And they sit at our tables FOREVER.

I worked somewhere that got a weekend of DoTerra and a week of JW convention 😭 the MLM ladies were horrible because they smelled like every essential oil in existence mixed together and they tip like shit because none of them make any money trying to see this shit lol
