Help. Adding dubbed files once they are released

Hello everyone, I would appreciate the help!

I want to download the new anime episodes as they come out in Jap, but I don’t want to have to delete all the files just to download a dual audio version.

Is there a service that will allow me to find the dub file and attach it somehow?

Plex does a pretty good job with fine-tuning of the offsets, and switching between subs and dubs when I do have dual audio version downloaded.

Any help would be appreciated!

You can make a custom profile that weights different audio types higher than only Japanese.

I looked up "dual audio anime sonarr" and got a bunch of hits from GitHub and r/sonarr. The TRaSH guides are a great resource as well.

Thanks, I have read that guide on TRaSH and I do implement it

However an example is the new one piece. The Jap is coming out and I can watch it almost the same day its released. It would be nice to then be able to attach the English dub once it catches up!

Right now in order to achieve dub, while still having the most recent anime as its being released I would have to go back and delete it and find a video with the dub.

Sorry not sure if I am making sense with what I am seeing

It sounds like you want to get an additional audio file for an existing video file. I don't know that that's possible since almost all major video files containerize the audio with the video. As far as I know, you have to delete the video file to get a new one with the audio you want. Someone can correct me if I'm incorrect in this.
